New Year, new energy. Welcome January 2022.
Dear Friends,
2022 kicks off with a delicious new moon in Capricorn on the 2nd January. This new moon very much carries the energy with it for the rest of the year. This is a much better time for those new year intentions that New Year's Eve. Capricorn likes to grow and have a goal so this new moon is a great time for manifesting what you want for your life and the year ahead. The days that follow are also a great time for using this energy. Look at the house that Capricorn falls in your chart to see which area in particular you can plant that seed.
This month has a lot of planets changing signs, this is bringing new energy in many areas. Jupiter is now very happy in one of its favorite signs moving along very fast. He will be leaving Pisces by May. Usually we have a whole year of Jupiter in a sign so this will be fast paced and exciting. If your Jupiter is in Pisces natally, you are having your Jupiter return, use this time wisely and build and wish for what you want. Jupiter brings us luck and expansion in the house that is travelling through. Check your chart to see which house will be expanding for you during this time. Think back to May to July last year as Jupiter dipped into Pisces then. You'll see a repeat of that theme or energy.
Mercury will go retrograde this month on 14th January until the 3rd February. Mercury retrograde has become a bit of a phenomena over recent years with some people growing to fear this period. Do not be scared to sign a contract or begin something new during this time. All it means is that anything we do begin may need to be revised or reworked at some point in the future. Equally this is an excellent time for revisiting past projects and finishing up tasks that have been hanging around. This retrograde happens in Aquarius so look at communications that need to have more work put in to or if you are needing to rework any matters within your friendship groups.
Venus is also still in retrograde for most of this month and wont be moving direct again until the 29th January. With both Mercury and Venus in retrograde, don't be surprised to hear from old lovers or past friends. With Venus going retrograde this an excellent time to rework our finances or revalue our relationships. What do we want to work and change? It is not a good time to make brash investments or undergo cosmetic treatments as the planet of love and money is going backwards. Wait until it is full steam ahead again in March if you wanted to do those things.
